Books-to-Movies
There is something amazing and fascinating in seeing a book become a movie. Sometimes we love the adaption, the hero makes us swoon, the landscape adds a depth to the story that might have been missing or just not noticed when reading the book. Sometimes we hate seeing our favorite books made into a movie, the actor makes us hate our favorite characters or the filmmakers cut out some of favorite scenes. But love them or hate them, most of use can’t seem to stop ourselves from watching the screen adaptations of our favorite novels.
I love books and I love movies! Both have the ability to sweep me away from my current location and worries and allow me to live vicariously, at least for a little time, through the eyes of other characters. Each month on Novel Reaction we read a book and discuss the film adaptation.
