Grayson Hadley is very upset when his mother and older brother hire a female tutor to teach him and his brothers had to behave in society. In Wolfishly Yours by Lydia Dare, Grayson believes that his manners are just fine, he is more concerned with getting the business he and his brothers are starting up and running than with how to drink a proper cup of tea. But all that changes when he meets the charmingly blunt Liviana Mayeux.
Liviana is furious about being in England, sent off by her father from New Orleans Liv is now expected to become a proper English lady. Something she has no intention of becoming, but things get more interesting when Liv meets Grayson, a werewolf like the males in her family. But as Liv gets to know Gray better and spends some time in Bath in society, she starts to think that maybe things aren’t as bad as she thought they were.
Wolfishly Yours is an entertaining paranormal regency period romance. Dare’s mixing of English society and the characteristics of the werewolf personality are well done and make for an entertaining read. For example, the female tutor makes the boys all go to a musical as part of their training, imagine having super hearing and having to sit through the bad talents of young misses. The Hadley brothers are a tight group, ready to defend each other from any threat but willing to throw each other under the bus when it comes to the training they are supposed to be receiving. Dare’s recurring themes of love and what it means to be a family are one of the reasons I have really enjoyed this series. You don’t have to have read any of the other books in Regency Wolves to enjoy Wolfishly Yours but I recommend the entire series.
