Medieval Hairstyles

You could have viewed pages in fashion magazines with attractive models showing off their lovely hair, be it black, blonde or brown but what might not be known to most people is that each of these models is not really sporting their own natural hair but actually wearing a lace front wig. Thus, anti-war greens who may be disappointed in Obama’s unwillingness to end the war in Afghanistan or Iraq should abandon the futile third party effort and work within the democratic party to create change.

I think it is far more productive in a democracy to have a variety of perspectives, and competition between different ideas, not one in which two parties appear unified by an official party perspective but differ vastly within their ranks on certain issues.

The best we can hope for at this point is to have one of the two main parties adopt some aspects of third parties, sort of like gary johnson and ron paul working within the Republican party to turn http://www.alicewigs.com/extensions/100-remy-hair-extensions/pre-bonded-hair-extensions.html it more libertarian.

Personally, I think the libertarian party is too extreme, for example, but I still may vote for them over the two main parties because even if they did somehow get elected with their extreme positions intact, I seriously doubt they would get them seriously implemented.

Hi there, I have recently been reading a lot about third party politics and have been shocked that supposedly at least somewhere Ponytails around sixty or seventy percent of Americans tend to more agree with third party politics then republicans and democrats… But will not vote for them just because they are afraid it is a waste of votes.

castleSolange has been crowned queen of the vampires, well at least her body has been crowned queen. Blood Prophecy by Alyxandra Harvey picks up right where Blood Moon left off, Nicholas has escaped from Dawn (the mysterious person helping to capture and torture vampires and humans alike) but we don’t know how nor is it certain whether he has turned evil like Solange or is just playing along to provide info for Solange’s family.

Meanwhile, Solange finds her consciousness trapped inside Viola’s (the crazy first vampire who stole Solange’s body) castle. It is up to Solange to figure out how to escape from Viola, regain control of her own body and figure out how to defeat Viola once and for all. Of course, during all of this Lucy is running around trying to figure out what is going on and getting herself almost killed in the process.

Blood Prophecy was a nice finish to The Drake Chronicles series by Alyxandra Harvey. One of things I love best about this series the loyalty the family has to one another, the family rather quickly realized that Solange was not Solange, refusing to believe that the crazy actions her body was taking was her, despite the obvious evidence that she was doing it. Blood Prophecy has plenty of Nicholas and Lucy (definite favs) and finally learn how Nicholas escaped the torture by Dawn. Solange’s journey through this series has been good but she really came into her own in Blood Prophecy. She went from being the overprotected baby of the family (and only girl child) to having to rely on herself to defeat Viola. I don’t thinks Blood Prophecy works as a stand alone novel, you really need to read the rest of the series to understand who everyone is and what is going on but I highly recommend the entire series.

Christmas_tree_sxc_huI know many of us will be spending the holidays with family so I thought it would be appropriate to do a holiday edition of Wednesday Words. :-)

“It couldn’t have been past eleven o’clock in the morning when he heard it. the most horrible sound. The kinds of sound that drove men to kill, to destroy all they love, to destroy everything.  With a growl he stood up, went to the window, and threw it open. The carolers at the front of the house glanced up at him.”

“Because isn’t that what the holidays are all about–letting your family make you wish you were an orphan?”

“‘Really, Fearghus. You need to stop asking me to let you killer your family.’ Fearghus shook his head. ‘They just keep irritating me.’ Morfyd gave a smile he knew would frighten any human. ‘I know. But that’s what most families do. Irritate.'”

christmas tree booksFrom all of us here at Novel Reaction we wish you a Merry Christmas, may your day be filled with good music, laughter, good food and joy of opening wrapped books from under the tree and the opportunity to read in quiet, if only for a moment during the day. Most of us will be spending some of the day together (that is what happens when the reviewers are all related to one another) and hope that we survive without any injuries (when a family the size of ours gets together there are no promises). Merry Christmas!

Why Ratings?
It is true you can't judge a book by its cover, you also can't judge a book's graphic content by its cover. NovelReaction's goal is to provide readers with a graphic content so they can make an informed decision regarding the books they want to read. (Also, to have a great place for people to discuss books.) So sit back, pull up a beverage, and read on!
