Because you can't judge a book by its cover

I hope everyone is enjoying a happy Memorial Day! Before you head out to the grill or spend time on the lake, take a moment and remember why we celebrate this day and why we have the freedoms we do. Growing up I spent every Memorial Day on the main street in town, waiting for my Grandfather to come marching down the street in his WWII uniform. He used to tell us grandkids about his experiences on the front lines of Italy in the Army. As a result I grew up with a huge respect and appreciation for the Vets.

Last summer I was lucky enough to visit Washington DC and while I was there I visited Arlington National Cemetery, in addition to the regular monuments.  Seeing the rows upon rows of headstones was an incredibly humbling experience. It gave me a much greater appreciation for all the soldiers from every military campaign that have given their lives in defense of our country. From all of us here at Novel Reaction, we offer a sincere and heartfelt “Thank You” to all the men and women who are currently serving or have served in the past. An additional big “Thank you” goes out to the families of the soldiers for all the sacrifices they make.

One Response to Happy Memorial Day!

Why Ratings?
It is true you can't judge a book by its cover, you also can't judge a book's graphic content by its cover. NovelReaction's goal is to provide readers with a graphic content so they can make an informed decision regarding the books they want to read. (Also, to have a great place for people to discuss books.) So sit back, pull up a beverage, and read on!
