Hunting Kat by PJ Schnyder Review

Kat Darah passes for a human mercenary on the outer fringes of space but her secret comes at risk after she meets Lt. Christopher Rygard. In Hunting Kat by PJ Schnyder Kat is finally getting some forced vacation time when she is attacked only to find out the attackers are after Rygard.

Rygard is nearing the end of his military campaign, he is trying to figure out if he wants to stay in his military unit or get out for good.  After meeting Kat, Rygard is trying to figure out if she is everything she claims to be or if she is just trying to take advantage of him. When the two of them embark on a mission to save Rygard’s life, they must learn to trust each other.

I have been in the mood for sci-fi romances lately. Hunting Kat was a good fit for this desire. Kat has been changed from her human form to a shifter, Kat is struggling to control her new characteristics and is unsure who to trust. Hunting Kat really felt like a beginning novel for me, I have to admit I finished the novel and went immediately to the author’s website to see if more books were in the works because it truly felt almost like a prequel. A setting the stage for another epic story to follow. I liked the characters and the fast pace movement in the novel kept me flying through the story. It was a little on the short side but I enjoyed it.

Why Ratings?
It is true you can't judge a book by its cover, you also can't judge a book's graphic content by its cover. NovelReaction's goal is to provide readers with a graphic content so they can make an informed decision regarding the books they want to read. (Also, to have a great place for people to discuss books.) So sit back, pull up a beverage, and read on!
